"I will kill Karasawa Takahiro" (Japanese: 唐澤貴洋殺す karasawa takahiro korosu) is a death threat against Karasawa Takahiro and is regarded as a sacred phrase in Koushinism. It is also known as the Hexagrammaton[1].
Overview
The Hexagrammaton is one of the popular phrases for death threats to Lawyer Karasawa Takahiro. It is abbreviated as "karakoro". Anything containing the name "karakoro" can be the target of reputational damage.
Another famous phrase used for the same purpose is "karanamé", which stands for "唐澤貴洋弁護士をナイフでメッタ刺しにして殺す"( Karasawa Takahiro bengoshi-wo naifu-de mettazashi-ni shite korosu, lit. I will kill Lawyer Karasawa Takahiro by stabbing him with a knife)
Posting death threats in an online BBS is usually treated as a taboo, as you can get arrested from it. However, this is not really the case when it comes to Karakoro.
After July 22, 2012, the day the Hexagrammaton first appeared on thread title in /livejupiter/ by dion-kun, numerous postings of the death threats appeared; it wasn't long before /livejupiter/ users such as Okinawa-kun started posting death threats every single day. Unable to handle such a large number of offenses, the police decided to ignore almost all of them and arrest one person every few months[2]. Because of this, Koushinists started to think of death threats as the game of chicken; if you got arrested, that's because you were unlucky. As a result, although the August 2013 3 million turmoil calmed things down for a while, Koushinists continued to create more than a hundred Karakoro threads every month, until July 13th, 2014, when the manager of 2channel banned the posting of the Hexagrammaton.
At the same time, Tor, VPN, and other tools for disguising IPs became widespread, and it became safe to make death threats as long as the IPs were disguised, making death threats, once forbidden on the Internet, the norm. dion-kun has created a paradigm shift in the death threat with only six words.
Within Karasawa Takahiro BBS, it is rarely treated as a death threat and is often interpreted as a kind of sutra. In addition, testimonies have been confirmed that "karakoro calms the mind," "it makes me feel gentle," "it is not enough if I do not karakoro once a day," and "the list of threads is tightened because it is easily noticeable in the list of threads."
The "karakoro" thread is half-jokingly referred to as "an oasis in NanJ" because summary affiliation blog owners do not reprint the death threat threads. In general, most of non-karakoro death threat threads are filled with responses such as "I've reported it", "It is indeed a no-no (for TV)", "AUTO" etc. In Karakoro, however, the first responses are "Yes, 3 million", "This is wrong." etc. in a socially friendly manner. After that, it becomes a chatting thread for the Koushinists.

I'll kill Karasawa Takahiro
The oldest death threat thread was made by "dion-kun", and After that he received a content-certified letter. The Guru stated that queer posts began to appear since November 2012, but this statement is incorrect because the first Tetragrammaton thread by dion-kun was made on July 22, 2012.
Discussion on the total number
As mentioned above, the number of death threats is enormous, but there are various theories about the actual number of death threats. Since dion-kun wrote in July 2012, the number has continued to increase indefinitely at this very moment, making accurate statistics almost impossible.
As mentioned below, Takahiro Karasawa states that he has been "threatened with death a million times", but this has little basis in fact. However, as shown below, as of September 2017, at least 260,000 death threats have already been made, at least at a low estimate, and since the turmoil shows no sign of abating, it is highly likely that one million death threats will become a reality in the future, even if the number does not reach at present.
Log-soku is a convenient tool for measurement on 2ch, but due to its crawling accuracy, Log-soku often misses threads that have not been responded to, especially in NanJ where threads tend to drop out easily.
Theory of 3,044 or 3,519 cases
The former is a search of thread titles by Log-soku, and the latter is the sum of monthly graphs of the number of death threats produced by volunteers. Only a small portion of the total is reflected because it is based on thread titles only. In fact, on November 10, 2012, ID:4q3/UyuY alone made 4,976 death threats[3], so not very useful as a source.
Theory of 266,311 cases
The number calculated by volunteers in "The thread to calculate the number of death threats against Takahiro Karasawa seriously"[4]. Data up to September 28, 2017. The data is aborted and does not include data from 2ch and Karasawa Takahiro BBS before Asahara Shoko BBS.
Theory of 950,000 cases
A theory that has been widely seen since the arrest of Seiya Fukushima. The sources are the Sankei Shimbun's online article that reported Fukushima's arrest[5] and TV Asahi's "Good! Morning" (a.k.a The first Jewel Voice Broadcast), in which the actual number of death threats was described as "over 950,000". However, this number of "950,000 cases" is a misreporting of the "total number including slander and libel" announced by the police. Although it has little credibility as a source, the Guru has adopted it in his article on Gendai Business.
Theory of one million cases
The "1,000,000" number was proposed at the same time as the "950,000" theory because it was said, "If there are 950,000 in two years, there will be 1,000,000 in about one month. As mentioned below, Takahiro Karasawa himself currently uses this "one million" figure for his self-promotion, but note that it was the Koushinists who first proposed it, and that there is no reliable source at all.
Theory of 2.5 million cases
This was once the most widespread theory. The source is the following copypasta, which is believed to be the result of a Google search on the notice.
1位 ジャスティン・ビーバー (カナダ) 1200万回 2位 唐澤貴洋 (日本) 250万回 3位 ジョージ・ブッシュJr. (アメリカ) 9万回
Translation 1st Justin Bieber (Canada) 12 million times 2nd Takahiro Karasawa (Japan) 2.5 million times 3rd George Bush Jr. (USA) 90,000 times
Based on this theory, joking descriptions such as "Justin is his rival" and "the world's second best achievement" are made, but they are not accurate because no objective data is provided to show that they are actual search results. Moreover, they could be "partial matches" and may include pages with only "Takahiro Karasawa" or only "kill".
Theory of 1.5 million cases
The original is a copypasta that was probably created by modifying the above copypasta[6]. In addition to being used in "Roseate Dandy (バラいろダンディ)", discourses that appear to be based on this copypasta is also found in "Flamed Lawyer (炎上弁護士)" and "Life Stinks (逆転人生)".
1.Justin Bieber (Canada) 12,610,000 2.Takahiro Karasawa (Japan) 1,570,000 3.George W Bush (USA) 95,000 4.Lance Armstrong (USA) 80,000 5.Barack Obama (USA) 70,000 6.Carlos Slim (Mexico) 45,000 7.Paris Hilton (USA) 25,000 8.Tiger Woods (USA) 10,000 8.Ismail Haniyeh (Palestine) 10,000
Statement by Karasawa
The first time he spoke about the number of death threats was on the June 22, 2017 broadcast of "Tokoro-san! Oh my God! (所さん!大変ですよ)", at which time he adopted the 1 million cases theory, but prefaced it with "what is being said on the Internet". However, five months later, on the November 13 broadcast of "Today's Close-up+", a message appeared as if it were true: "I have received more than one million death threats" (however, if you listen carefully, it says "that I have received death threats," and it is possible that Karasawa was speaking in the sense of hearsay). One month later, on December 19, an article in "Gendai Business" abruptly reverts to the theory of 950,000 cases, saying, "When the police announced the number in connection with a certain case, it was about 950,000 cases. Since this "police statement" clearly refers to the news report of Seiya Fukushima's arrest, there is a strong suspicion that the basis for the theory of one million cases is a false rumor by Koushinists.
A year later, on December 13, 2018, his autobiography, "Flamed Lawyer: Why I Received a Million Death Threats," was released. He strongly pushes "one million" and pretends to have heard it directly from the police, although it is a false rumor by Koushinists. Moreover, he even claims the number to be the world's second largest with the "death threats ranking" which is a copypasta of the NanJ. The "death threat ranking" was also used on "Roseate Dandy" on December 2, before the release of the book, but that time the number of death threats was set at 1.5 million as in the copypasta. As a result, his assertion is inconsistent with his book.
Although the number of death threats he has received has fluctuated, he has come to regard the theory of one million cases as a settled theory in "Josei Jishin", "bengo4.com, "Shukan Bunshun", his second work "That tweet will come under fire!", and his seminar "A Million Death Threats to a Lawyer: How to Avoid a Sudden Crisis".
He says he heard it directly from the police.
On the other hand, the "death threat ranking" is still being used.
In "Life Stinks" in May 20, 2019, the extremely rude catchphrase "second only to Justin Bieber" was used, but the source of this information is still not disclosed.
However, the above-mentioned Roseate Dandy clarified that the information is from the Internet with an unknown source.
Regulations on 2ch
2014
On July 12, the word was regulated by an administrator Mango Mangue ★[7]. However, bad potatoes asked Jim to allow Unicode to be used on NanJ. The next day, there were many posts of Hexagrammaton in Unicode (a.k.a. "noncontrolled Hexagrammaton"). However, the next day, Unicode became unavailable again, and now thread titles include concretization (stab with a knife, etc.), death threat against his father, 唐澤貫洋殺す, etc.
On October 30, when Mango Mangue ★ slightly unregulated on 2ch to fix a glitch, a Koushinist started a Karakoro thread[8]. It was immediately restricted, but for the first time in three months, the Hexagrammaton was seen on NanJ.
Incidentally, with the rule change of the day, introduced was a fine buckingham (罰金バッキンガム) in which threads are suspended[9] simply because "kill" is in the thread title[10]. Therefore, death threats against Hasegawa Ryota, Karasawa Hiroshi, and baseball players were also indirectly restricted.
On November 20, around the time the date changed, the Hexagrammaton suddenly became writable, and Hexagrammaton threads were completed in two and a half hours before they were re-regulated. The continuous posting restriction had just been lifted, and the event was very exciting, with some people playing karakoro more than 1,000 times. Some people guessed that they lifted the restrictions to celebrate Jim's birthday. However, Mango Mangue confessed that it was his mistake.
2015
The newly introduced 2ch NG word restriction had a bug: a large number of NG-designated words written in a single response is considered copy-and-paste bombing. Therefore, a point-based regulation, not the NG word regulation, is applied and the response can be written. Because of this bug, Karakoro was restored on April 1 after an interval of approximately five and a half months[11].
On December 30, entity references became available before they knew it. Using right-to-left sorting control characters, Karakoro was restored after another nine months[12].
2016
On June 8, the Karakoro thread was started and Karakoro was revived for the first time in 160 days[13].
2019
The Karakoro thread, which was set up on April 30, was completed in 25 minutes as a result of the large number of people who gathered to celebrate the change of the Japanese era name to Reiwa[14].
Variant form of characters
After the regulation of the Hexagrammaton in 2ch, a variant version appeared, in which 殺(U+6BBA) was replaced by 殺(U+F970). Since U+F970 is one of CJK Compatibility Ideographs, it is not recommended to use it for any purpose other than avoiding the regulation. If the purpose is not to avoid regulations but to use a variant itself, the ideographic variation sequences should be used instead of CJK Compatibility Ideographs, and the character should be 殺󠄀(U+6BBA U+E0100).
