Kenma-Kun
Kenma-Kun is a mascot character of Chibakenma.
Overview
Kenma-Kun is an ornament which had been enshrined at the entrance of Chibakenma. This ornament itself existed since Chibakenma had been built, but its existence came to be paid attention to because an ornament of animal was looking into the camera in the picture taken while Kenma on the thread 「【A sad news】"Self-talking mat in Hasegawa's house was removed"」[1]. The first appearance of his name "Kenma-Kun" is also in this thread.
However, in less than half a month, he was stolen by an inconsiderate Koushinist. Several months later, a picture of his subsequent appearance was uploaded with a lie that the people who took that picture bought him. Even so, we haven't heard anything from him since, so Kenma-Kun has been missing completely.
In this way, it has been impossible to appreciate his original. However, there are so many Koushinists who have been fascinated by Kenma-Kun that lots of alternative fictions have been made by volunteers. At one time, many Koushinists toured DIY stores again and again in a frenzy to buy Kenma-Kun. Yet, it turned out to be impossible to buy Kenma-Kun because he had been in circulation around 1999 and he has already been out of print by having advanced a study about him rapidly on August, 2015. Fortunately, there are a big tendency to copy and reprint him, based on data and the products of the same type as Kenma-Kun, which have been found miraculously.
