Toshoku (当職,Tōshoku) is a Japanese first-person pronoun used by attorneys, especially in formal documents.
Overview
The term is a formal way of saying “I/me” in English that is unique to attorneys and rarely used by ordinary people. Takahiro Karasawa frequently used the term in some of his tweets, leading many Koushinists to use it instead of more common first-person pronouns such as ‘’俺‘’, ‘’私’’(I).
